For journalists, NGOs, and teams operating in complex environments

This 3-day training is a practical, field-oriented program designed to strengthen safety, awareness, and decision-making in unstable or high-friction environments.

It focuses on real operational conditions — movement, human behavior, and early risk recognition — providing participants with immediate, usable capabilities on the ground.

WHO IT’S FOR

 This training is designed for:

  • Journalists and correspondents
  • Media teams and field producers
  • NGOs and humanitarian staff
  • Fixers and local support teams
  • Professionals operating in sensitive or unstable environments

  Participants will:

  • Recognize risk before escalation
  • Move and operate with reduced exposure
  • Read environments and human behavior more accurately
  • Make controlled decisions under pressure
  • Respond to incidents with clarity and structure

TRAINING STRUCTURE (3 DAYS)

Day 1 — Preparation & Early Recognition

  • Mission clarity and exposure levels
  • Risk framing (continue/pause/abort)
  • Communication discipline
  • Route planning and movement logic
  • First 72 hours stabilization
  • Establishing baseline vs detecting deviation

Outcome: Controlled and stable entry into the environment

  • Decision-making under stress
  • Safe movement and extraction
  • Managing post-incident environments
  • Scenario-based simulations

Basic Medical Preparedness (Medical Trainer)

  • Scene safety and primary assessment (A–B–C)
  • Bleeding control and stabilization
  • Casualty handling basics
  • Safe transport principles Incident recognition and response logic
